Matt Rosendale Issues Statement on Signing of The Great American Outdoors Act

HELENA, MT — In reaction to the signing of the Great American Outdoors Act, Matt Rosendale, Republican candidate for Montana’s lone U.S. House seat, issued the following statement:

“The signing of the Great American Outdoors Act is a monumental milestone in the preservation and protection of our public lands. Senator Daines has brought people together and accomplished what many could not in terms of supporting conservation. The Land and Water Conservation Fund provides critical access opportunities to recreationalists across our state, supporting our outdoor economy, and protects public lands for future generations. I appreciate the work of Senator Daines on this important issue and promise that if elected, I will continue my strong track record of protecting and expanding public access on the State Land Board and stand beside Senator Daines, and President Trump, in steadfast support of our public lands.”
