HELENA, MT — After hearing feedback on the impacts that businesses across Montana are feeling in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, both on the campaign trail and, most recently, at a business roundtable meeting in Helena earlier this week, Matt Rosendale has released his plan to support Montana businesses and reignite our economy.
The plan focuses specifically on lifting the regulatory burdens on businesses, incentivizing innovation, and taking steps to provide certainty to businesses during this uncertain time.
“In the face of unprecedented challenges, we need bold ideas to get our economy back on track,” said Matt Rosendale. “I have heard from members of our business community in a broad array of industries, including construction, agriculture, retail, guided tourism, healthcare, and others, and there is a common thread among all of their feedback—we need to remove regulatory barriers and work to provide certainty to small businesses. That’s why today, I am proud to announce my plan to reignite our economy, which includes proven policies that will help unleash economic growth and foster job creation and innovation. I know this plan will provide struggling families and businesses with the support and flexibility they need right now.”
Matt’s policy priorities on reigniting our economy include:
- Providing Long-Term Regulatory Relief
- Unleashing Investment in American Business
- Creating a Permanent Pro-Growth Tax Code
- Protecting Businesses from Pandemic Liability
- Incentivizing Work Over Welfare
- Reining in Government Spending
- Developing Our Natural Resources
- Connecting Rural Communities
