AMBASSADOR JOHN BOLTON, MONTANA VETERANS ENDORSE ROSENDALE AS TOP NATIONAL DEFENSE CANDIDATE
FORMER U.N. AMBASSADOR FOR PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH SUPPORTS SENATE CAMPAIGN

HELENA, Mont. - Glendive rancher Matt Rosendale received the endorsement of John Bolton, former ambassador to the U.N. for President George W. Bush and one of the top voices in the country for a strong national defense.

“Montanans know that a stronger nation is a safer nation. Jon Tester’s proud support of Obama’s disastrous Iran deal shows he will toe his party’s line, even when our nation’s defense is at stake,” said Rosendale. “I’m honored to have Ambassador Bolton’s support. The oath of office in the U.S. Senate is a sacred and solemn promise to defend America from its enemies. It’s time to stop messing around and do what’s right for the country in the Senate.”

Bolton PAC was founded by John Bolton, former Ambassador to the United Nations for President George W. Bush. Bolton is a renowned expert in national security policy and his Bolton PAC focuses on raising the importance of national defense in Federal elections.

“Matt Rosendale is a no-nonsense defender of national security who knows just how disastrous the Iran nuclear deal was for America, and he has expressed strong support for working to prevent Iran from gaining nuclear weapons. Supporters of our military will count him as a great ally in the Senate,” said Bolton. “His strong commitment to President Trump’s America First agenda draws a sharp contrast to Jon Tester’s support of Obama’s weak defense priorities”. 

In addition to Bolton PAC’s recent endorsement, veterans from across Montana have also lent their support to Rosendale, touting him as the top Republican to support our troops and defeat Democratic Senator Jon Tester in the fall.

“Matt Rosendale made a pledge to our state with his oath of office in the past and served with honor. I support Matt because of his proven commitment to our state and our country,” said Bobby Carroll, retired Navy, Vietnam Veteran, from St. Regis, MT.

“As a veteran, I support Matt Rosendale because, first and foremost, he is for Montanans. With his extensive local governmental experience and first-hand knowledge of the needs, wants, and desires of Montanan citizens, to include veterans, he is the best equipped to hit the ground running on day-one of his first term—and to represent us; not outside interests. That why I will be voting for Matt Rosendale.” said Tracy Sharp, Retired Lt Col USAF, from Polson MT.

“I have visited with matt. His heart is with America and with the future of his children's freedoms. I support matt. He is a patriot. Tester needs to become a full time farmer,” said Ray Bergroos, Retired USAF, from Libby MT. 

“My vote is for Matt Rosendale, a man of his word, good for Veterans, and good for Montana!” said Dan Thyer, Retired USAF, Ennis MT.

In addition to voicing their support for Rosendale, these and many other local Montana veterans have joined the campaign’s Veterans for Rosendale Coalition, which mobilizes veterans across Montana who are fed up with Jon Tester and the status quo in Washington, D.C.

Rosendale’s coalition adds to a strong grassroots presence in Montana, including the support of over 30 local state legislators who have endorsed his campaign.
