Support Our Veterans Today
November 11, 2013
Today is Veterans day. It is a day we take a moment to remember the sacrifice that the brave men, women and families of our armed forces have given to defend our freedom’s and liberty.
I recently had the honor of hosting a group of veterans at my ranch in Glendive and was able to donate my land so that the Wounded Warriors Project could give injured veterans some time away on a hunting trip. Working with the Wounded Warriors Project is an honor that I will never forget.
So today, I ask that everyone take a moment and consider doing more than observing a moment of silence. Get involved and help out. If there is a veterans group you are already involved in, I would encourage you to donate a little more of your time or resources today.
If you are not involved with a veterans organization, I would encourage you to join me in supporting the Wounded Warriors Project. The Wounded Warriors Project is a non-profit that works with injured veterans as they transition from military life back into civilian life. They have a profound impact on the veterans they support, but in order to continue working with our nations heroes they need your help.
I urge you to consider supporting them today. Any contribution you make will go a long way to supporting our troops as they return home.
