The Best of America, The Best of Montana

Last weekend I had the high honor of welcoming home 143 soldiers of the Montana National Guard 189th Aviation Battalion.

After I shook the hands of the men and women stepping on the tarmac, I couldn't help but take a step back and watch as friends and family greeted their loved ones who had been away for so long. As I watched, I was reminded of the many soldiers who came before them--many of whom never returned.

The men and women of the United States military are the finest in the world. They, along with their families, have sacrificed so much for the freedom and liberty we enjoy.

I believe all aspects of our lives can be pointed to one idea--Freedom First. Thank you to all who have and continue to serve!
